It is not necessary to have an internet connection to open the door in local mode because the VEHOO lock works with the WiMy keys by BLE 4.0.
But if you want to unlock the bolt remotely, you do need to be connected to the internet.
IS IT NECESSARY TO INSTALL ANY SOFTWARE ON THE COMPUTER TO MANAGE VEHHO?
No, VEHOO does not require any additional software. Simply from a web browser you access to the platform and manage VEHOO.
Once the device is installed, HOW CAN THE HOUSE DOOR BE OPENED?
To open the door of the house from the outside, you need an electronic key (WiMy model) validated by the administrator of the lock or through a user who has permission to unlock the bolt remotely.
To open it from the inside there are several options. The first and simplest is to press the validation button located on the side of the lock. The second is to rest your hand on the handle and wait for the device to detect it. For this last option, it is necessary that the handle / hand detection has been previously calibrated.
DO I NEED A SPECIAL MOBILE TO USE VEHOO?
The mobile devices that provide the VEHOO application are Android and IOS, but any device that has a browser can use VEHOO accessing the platform.
HOW LONG DOES THE LOCK BATTERY LAST?
The batteries last approximately 6 months.
IF MY MOVILE IS STOLEN OR I LOSE IT?
To access the VEHOO application, a user and a password are necessary; therefore keep this data well protected. You can access the system and change the user's password wherever necessary.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE PHONE RUNS OUT OF BATTERY?
Nothing happens. You can access the VEHOO platform from any other device that has a browser. Remember that to access the platform you only need a username and a password.
AND IF THE VEHHO DEVICE RUNS OUT OF BATTERY?
If the VEHOO device runs out of battery, the user will receive a warning and the device will remain open. Once the user has changed the batteries, the device will operate normaly.
